Nature and design are my mode of motivation. Upholding their integrity synergistically is an ongoing practice as consumerism keeps me in business. Learning from the best in beauty and fashion, I’m now here to execute and bring the world my service. Ability can take you anywhere. Perseverance will make you a success.

My mother was a model in New York throughout the 70's and 80's, any child at 4 years old that gets to play dress up in their mother Halston gowns is pretty much set for a destiny of appreciating beautiful things. My mother got a kick out of me in her clothes and taught me dropping and proper fit of garments. As much as I found myself in the attic immersed in Couture heaven, I was out in the trees with no shoes on. Nature is my love and is the inspirer of my creativity. Protecting Natures beauty helps motivate my service to consumerism.

At 16 I went down the block to the local salon and asked the owner if I could sweep the floors, I knew I wanted to be a hair dresser. It fascinated me just as much a clothes did. I thought- One day I’m going to be a stylist and wanted to style people head to toe. I wanted to see my hairstyles in Magazines and dress people for the Red Carpet.

Attending design school after high school and working at my school’s costume shop sewing costumes for the theatre department made me realize how much I love using my hands to create. Leaving school, I took off and traveled around the country on a greyhound bus. I wanted to visually soak in the beauty of the country. It was magnificent. Upon returning from my journey I went to beauty school in Manhattan and then landed a job as an apprentice at Bumble and Bumble! It was amazing to say the least with a strict training regimen practiced daily and Intense classes provided weekly for apprentices. From Bumble, I went on to train with French stylist Jerome Obry at John Barrett Salon at Bergdorf Goodman learning how to make women beautiful. After years of intense high end salon training, I followed my dream in working on sets for Beauty/fashion/advertising and editorial photoshoots. During these years I worked closely under top internationally renowned Hairstylists Christiaan Houtnebous, Eugene Souleiman, and Kevin Ryan helping them craft hair for the beautiful images of publications such as Vogue, Harpers Bazaar etc. and Campaigns such as Coach, Maybeline, Top Shop, etc. I also worked alongside the most sought after Hairstyling teams in fashion on shows such as Marc Jacobs, Donna Karen, Schiaparelli, Oscar De La Renta, Tommy Hilfiger etc. under these great hairstylists.

Attaining a life in freelance fashion hairstyling I became a part time apprentice at Iconic Establishment- Kenneth Salon at the Waldorf=Astoria NYC. Starting over as an apprentice was challenging; however, working alongside Creative Director Kevin Lee and amongst senior hairstylists of a generation from a time that paved the way in hair styling will always be invaluable to say the least. Kenneth's is a Legend in the Hair world with A-list of clientele such as Jackie Onassis and Marilyn Monroe, this was the most idealistic place of work. After 4 years at Kenneth's I became Creative Consultant forming classes for the team and planning to revamp the Brand and product line. New York is a critical place for any field and brings out the worthiest of characteristics in those who are humbled by the experiences it brings. Im working bicoastal, loving life, creativity and inspiration from nature.
